Indulge your senses into the exquisite views of Amy's deep connection with tranquil nature and bask in a vacation from daily life as you view beauty and relaxation through the beach, flowers, vineyards and more!

Amy's life passionate work involves photography, previous performances as a dancer and model, art lover and so much more... intricate, complex and artistic with a flair for fashion, advocate for positive causes and of course a food lover and so much more~ Previously busy in front of the camera, now avidly behind it, more passionate than ever before! Amy was more fated than anything to have stumbled upon photography in such a quick vast manner, it just hit her one day and she never looked back... nor was the same. Amy needed to find beauty left in something after challenging events came into her life, and photography created that instantly. It all started with opportunity after another, as Amy started noticing amazing lighting in nature and how easy it was in the right moment if one could catch it, to take a photo and see how in the raw such beauty can be captured and shared! Then the addiction began, to continue connecting with nature and see what she could capture and it fulfilled her so much, she has never stopped. We can be so fooled by nature and other crisp photographic shots thinking they have been altered, when in fact they are raw due to the profound lighting that was caught and that specific opportunity. That is what makes this photographic journey so exciting for Amy, because her photos turn out so different after she sees them taken, for example a photo of a bee in a flower, it was not there and seconds later it flew into the flower! Life is so unexpected that photography can be such a wonderful escape for adventure and spontaneity. 'I photograph because it is healing for me on such an amazing level, I enjoy sharing what I see through a lens with all of you.'

The only way for Amy to truly feel most comfortable in her skin, is through some form of artistic nature. Amy says 'I am grateful for the freedom I have found through photography & nature and for meeting the right people at the right times. 'Photography has provided me my permanent lighthouse, a place of light and joy where I can go and hide and forget about the world and find peace.' I am truly touched to share all of my work with you and am so grateful for your encouragement and kind words.'

There are so many forms Amy has applied and so many passions of hers. Photography is the greatest passion her soul has ever known. 'I am literally addicted to photography and creative projects, so much so, that I forget about everything while I create. It is magical for me to participate with nature and take photos and it comes so easy for me and natural, it just feels right and so divine. I live and breathe photography. Not the instruction of it, just the creation of whatever my heart and soul guide me to, there is no right or wrong in my book, it is art and therapy & a powerful form of expression. I seem to have an endless reservoir of photographic creativity within me that seems to be flowing like a river in which I cannot seem to make it stop, nor would I want to. Before this wonderful journey of creative explosion...Photography was never something I aspired for, it was never anything i tried to do, it was never a thought for me to even embark upon, until one morning I woke up and went to buy a camera, that was really it. Plain and simple, I never planned for this and it has been such a gift for me to be able to enjoy!'

In the 10 years since Amy started photography, she never encountered a class or study of the subject, she just had this need inside her to move through life with a camera as if it held her hand into oneness with nature, to heal her and help quiet her spirit and find peace. Photography was a gift given to Amy by nature at a special tumultuous time in her life. 'The gift of solace in nature, divine connection and closeness with capturing a photo the same way as I viewed it at that moment, stops time for me. It cherishes that very moment. Photography keeps that moment sacred and shares it with all of you. It provides an understanding without words of how nature can heal us without force, but with unconditional love, softness and gentle movements forward with the grace of the powerful wind.'

Amy further states, 'Photography has this way of putting me into a deep zone of subconscious attention on that very subject so intensely, that I seem to forget about everything else around me. I see something there or nature shows it to me, or the subject/person I am photographing shows it to me and I am so excited to see how it all turns out after the photo is taken. It takes me away into another world for a moment, and I am off sailing the seas... so to speak, while the world is busily moving about.'

Amy currently works in digital format, shooting between 27mm wide to 400mm (Tele), primarily Aperture photography. Enjoy your visit here &

Amy's Favorite quote one she resonates with quite well - 'I know that the accident of my being a photographer has made my life possible.'
